TEM Workshop July 23- Aug. 3, RSVP

Attendance at the TEM Workshop is free, open to all WU researchers (faculty, staff, post-doc or graduate student) and does not count against the two fully subsidized training opportunities given to each PI each year.  We ask you to RSVP so we can best accommodate the attendees. For questions about the workshop please contact Beth bgartin@wustl.edu. The Hands -On Immersion Training  Lab section is now full.    For individual training requests please complete this form. Registration for the lecture series is still open.

Please select which lectures you would like to attend:
Max. enrollment: 8, limit 1 per research group. Small groups of NEW users will receive hands-on training on the JEOL 2100 STEM, with the goal of becoming licensed users by the end of the workshop. These training sessions will be available to NEW users only. "Hands-on" trainees will be required to attend ALL lecture and laboratory sessions; PI's should identify the most suitable student from their group to make the necessary time commitment to receive this in depth training. Note that training received during this workshop will NOT count against the two fully subsidized training opportunities granted to each PI each year, so this is an opportunity to train an additional user for your group! If you want to participate in this part of the workshop, please enter your name in the space below and select all of the lecture sessions above. You will be contacted to confirm enrollment. THIS SESSION IS NOW FULL. FOR INDIVIDUAL TRAINING REQUESTS PLEASE COMPLETE THE TRAINING REQUEST FORM.
The week of August 6-10 we will demonstrate and practice STEM and elemental mapping, particularly for existing users. Please indicate below what technique(s) you are interested in, what days and times work for you and if you have a sample to practice on. We will contact you to confirm the details.
